Biodiversity Bioblitz at Sycamore Grove

Info: Join Natural Resource Technician Emily for a hike along the Del Valle Connector (.5 miles each way) on Saturday, September 9th, and explore local biodiversity in Sycamore Grove Park.
We’ll participate in the iNaturalist California Biodiversity Challenge and document the species we find.
Participating in the iNaturalist California Biodiversity challenge is simple!
- Sign up (or sign into) iNaturalist and join the project linked here
- Download the iNaturalist App
- Start using the app during California Biodiversity Week (Sept. 2-10)! Your findings will automatically link to the project once you’ve joined
** Installing the app is not required to join the hike.
If you cannot attend:
You can still join the iNaturalist Challenge and document the species you find around your neighborhood or local parks anytime from September 2-10!
What to bring:
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Water
- A smartphone (if you wish to participate in the iNaturalist challenge)
