Ida Holm Park

A children's playground with slides, climbing structures, and shaded areas on a sunny day.

The federal government brought the land from the Holm family in 1925 and drilled several wells to supply water to the Veterans Administration Hospital. The 6-acre park was built in 1974 and name Holmwell until August 1999 when it was renamed Ida Holm (1861-1939) in memory of the Holm family matriarch. This neighborhood park features a playground and family picnic area.
