Machine Maniacs Camp
Mad Science of Mt. Diablo Staff
Whether you love building or destroying things, this camp includes lots of both! Design and build structures using simple tools and your imagination! The machine madness starts when you discover how simple and complex machines are used in our daily lives. Children will even build their own Robot!

Flight Academy
Mad Science of Mt. Diablo Staff
Explore the basic principles of flight, ride a hovercraft, build airplanes, and construct balloon copters! Set your eyes on distant skies and learn about outer space. Take a tour of distant galaxies and discover the incredible place where we live: The Milky Way. This hands-on Mad Science program teaches you all about aerodynamics and the world above us!

Secret Agent Lab Camp

From decoding messages to metal detectors and night vision, campers check out spy tech equipment and take home lots of gadgets. Step into the shoes of a detective as you uncover the science involved in evidence gathering and analysis! Become a super spy and learn clever ways of performing as we take a hands-on view of the science that spies and detectives use.

Creative Contraption Warning! This camp is designed by you, the Inventor! Each day you will be given a series of challenges which must be overcome using basic materials, simple machines, tips from world famous inventors and the most important thing of all - your imagination!
